And this is the same 400+ hours savegame I've had countless abandoned scripts and mods. I once had my savegame bloat up to over 100MB in size but I've since reduced it to below 50MB.
So really, there's no deadend to a savegame, because there's always a fix. Very thorough and guaranteed to fix most saves so long as you know what you're doing. The best one for me would be the script scapel diagnostic tool ( ). There's also another other save cleaners, like the one that removes dead cells.

Unless you had like a dozen heavy script mods uninstalled at once, the impact should be very minimal and not even noticeable.Īnd that was before. It is true, removing scripted mods can muck up savegames but it's not as severe as people think, and quite rare.

Would that be more of an issue from overwritten textures which can be prevented by using mod organizer though? Just wondering because looking around, it seems most people consider removing any scripted mod meant a death sentence for the save game unless you revert to an earlier save without the mod.
